    02 September 2015

The Round Table Dining have had a really busy summer. We have been assisting the lovely people of Harrogate with Private Dining, BBQ’s, Canape Parties and supplying lots of delicious food for Corporate events.

One of most exciting events was our Pop-Up Kitchen which was held at The Balcony, a beautiful modern venue over looking Harrogate cricket pitch.

The Canapes and bubbles were served on the balcony as it was a beautiful June summers evening. The guests then moved inside to enjoy there fine dining meal and listen to live music from pianist David Robinson.

Each course was paired with wine by Paul Auty from Ake and Humphris, and the tables were dressed with flowers by Sarah Barritt from Passion for Flowers.

We look forward to our next Pop-Up Kitchen…………….Watch this space.

  • Fun with the WI

    02 September 2015

The Round Table Dining were very excited to be part of the Spa Sweethearts WI team building weekend held at Herd Farm. The event was organised by the ladies not only to get to know each other better, but also to enjoy different activities, workshops and to learn new skills. As one of the activities The Round Table Dining held a Canape Masterclass where the ladies not only learnt the art of making Canapes, but other skills such as “how to make a stock”,”basic knife skills” and how to make the perfect Yorkshire Pudding batter. The team was divided into small groups and each group made a different Canape which was to be enjoyed that evening with drinks.

The ladies produced some fantastic Canapes with the help of Chef Whaheed and fun was had by all every step of the way.

  • Adult Cookery Classes – Harewood House

    02 September 2015

The Round Table Dining hosted a fun packed program of adult cookery classes at The Great British Food Festival over the May Bank Holiday. The festival was held at the beautiful Harewood house, and the sun shined the whole weekend. Our participants worked in pairs with there very own section, set up with all the equipment they needed, including pots, pans and even a  portable stove. Who would have thought cooking in a field could be so much fun.

In Chef Whaheeds classes he taught dishes including “How to build the perfect Burger”, “Thai Green Curry” and “How to cook the perfect steak”, as well as giving tips of the trade and demonstrating easy techniques to use at home.

We would also like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Sykes House Farm in Wetherby who sponsored all the meat for the event. http://www.sykeshousefarm.co.uk/.

If you want to book adult cookery classes as a corporate team building event or just as fun with a group of friends, please do not hesitate to get in touch. You will learn the basics in the kitchen and have fun creating different dishes.
